	La Tania (1,350 metres) La Tania in the The Valleys provides a great ski resort for a family ski holiday. There are plenty of catered ski chalets: a mixture of budget and luxury ski chalets can be found in the wooded area above the village. Ski & Snowboard Access: La Tania has excellent ski and boarding access to Les Trois Vallees. There is the La Tania telecabine, then a four-seater chairlift that takes you to the ridge between Meribel and Courchevel. At the top of the chair turn left to ski down to Courchevel 1850 or right for Meribel; if going to Meribel you will need a lift pass for Les Trois Vallees. There are several really enjoyable ski runs back home to la Tania. When you get to the top of the La Tania telecabine you have the choice of red, blue or green pistes. The red Moretta Blanche is the fastest and least likely to be busy: it is a great run back to the chalets just above the village. The Hotel Telemark also has a bar with occasional live bands. For apres ski with a bit more comfort La Taiga provides a nice atmosphere. For a touch of relaxation after a day of skiing or snowboarding around the 3 Valleys there is a mobile massage service operating in the resort. Ski Schools: The ESF ski school in la Tania is generally pretty good for skiers of all standards with plenty of English speakers available - although service standards seem to fall during French holidays, group sizes and prices do not! The independent ski school Magic in Motion also offer group and private lessons, with a meeting point in la Tania. Momentum Snowsports is a British ski and snowboard school based in La Tania and Courchevel Hire Shops: There are a number of ski hire shops in the village of la Tania offering both skiing and boarding equipment.
